The Greek Ladies Philoptochos Society is as the name indicates the Greek word for Friends of the Poor and is a women’s organization that practises Christian charity by helping those who need the spirit of fellowship and material assistance. Their Mission is to promote charitable, benevolent and philanthropic outreach; to preserve the sanctity of life and family; and to perpetuate and promote the Orthodox faith and its traditions.
